Candidates for the upcoming Cy-Fair ISD board election on November 2 have invested thousands of dollars in their campaigns, according to the first round of campaign finance reports posted on www.cfisd.net.

Some took out loans or used personal funds beyond donations to cover campaign expenses, such as advertising, website design, counseling, social media, signs, and flyers.

Citizens for proven CFISD leaders, a special purpose committee supporting the three election incumbents, John Ogletree, Don Ryan and Bob Covey, has raised nearly $ 18,300 as of October 4. Ogletree and Covey raised an additional $ 6,290 and $ 2,700 respectively.

Courtney Spradley, candidate for Position 5, has raised $ 13,510 in monetary donations since the start of her campaign, which is more than any other individual candidate.

Click on the links below to find out how much the following applicants have raised and spent as of October 4. Campaign fundraising reports for Xavier Leal, Ryan Irving and Craig Jacobs were not available at time of publication.
