EAM meets Russian and Iranian ministers in Dushanbe
Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, who is in Dushanbe representing India at the 21st SCO Summit, met Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov ahead of the start of the SCO Summit in Tajikistan.

SCO 2021 summit: key details
⢠As India will be represented by EAM S. Jaishankar, world leaders present at the meeting are expected to deliberate on the Afghan crisis, its internal and external implications, and regional security issues.
⢠The summit will be chaired by the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. It will also see the leaders of the SCO member states, the secretary general of the SCO, observer states, the executive director of the regional counterterrorism structure of the SCO, the president of Turkmenistan, among others.
⢠During the meeting, Jaishankar is also expected to attend a meeting on Afghanistan with the head of states of the SCO and the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
⢠The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, the Prime Minister, as well as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, are some of the leaders who will attend the meeting.
